Local Agenda:

  • Special guest Dane Sanders will be here and will be speaking about:
  • Standing Out from the Crowd:  Imagine life as a professional photographer where you never fake it or pretend – where your confidence in your art and your business comes from who you are as a photographer and not from what someone tells you you’re supposed to be. Imagine a recession and competition proof photo business built on a resource uncompromisingly committed to your core strengths. Now, imagine being given the tools required to get clear on what those skills are, as well as a fool proof plan to maximize your talents. Come join Dane as he helps put YOU at the center of your photography.
  • Bio: Dane Sanders is an original members of the OSP Forum and has served as a Community Leader at the Pictage Forum since 2004. He has been featured in Rangefinder, Professional Photographer and American Photo magazines. He is probably best known for his “photo minute” vodcasts and for his recent book, Fast Track Photographer. He’s been a Pictage member since 2003.

Pictage Agenda:

  • Event extension

LAUREN COHN-FRANKEL
Cohn Frankel Photography

info@cohnfrankelphotography.com

Lauren took her first photography class at summer camp when she was 14. She started her career in the music industry shooting and documenting the punk music scene of Manhattan’s Lower East Side.  After moving to the Bay Area in 1996, she devoted herself full time to photography, earning a BFA from California College of the Arts and eventually opening her own studio. Like all photojournalists, she dedicates herself to finding beauty in reality, and her fresh, straightforward style has garnered awards on both coasts. She currently resides in Oakland.
