Suzi Q. Varin gave up a promising career as a Zamboni driver to become a photographer. The ice rink was replaced by the amazing moments (and mostly warmer conditions) of weddings that she photographed in California. After earning a BFA from San Jose State University, she split time documenting weddings between the Bay Area, Los Angeles and San Diego. A lifelong foodie, she happily shoots (and eats) food for cookbooks in addition to her wedding work. Recently, Suzi and her husband Noah decided to move to Austin after years of visiting. With great BBQ, a minor league hockey team and a creative vibe, Austin is definitely home. She is continuing to shoot in California as well as Texas.
