I truly believe that my art is similar to that of a painter. Shooting portraits of people and couples is like painting a picture that tells the story within the pages of a book I've never read. If the end product triggers the emotion within that person that matches how they see themselves then I am successful. My love for photography and capturing a special moment has extended more opportunities then I could have ever dreamed. It all started as nothing more than a project for a High School class. After the pictures were taken and developing completed, the parents of a classmate I had taken pictures of loved them so much that they paid me to have more printed. Being young and impressionable as I was, I saw Photography as something fun that, as it seemed, I Could also turn into a profitable venture. As time progressed, my love for taking pictures grew immensely and my business evolved. Trying to start a business and make it successful at the age of 15 was a challenge. Within the next year I was booking more portrait sessions than I could handle and covering all of the sporting events for our local newspaper. At 16 years old I shot my first wedding in Bountiful, Utah more than 400 miles from my little hometown. Today I cover weddings anywhere in the world that my bride and groom want to go.
