Born and raised in Cincinnati, OH, Leah began her study of photography in high school. Like many students, photography became her favorite subject in which she thought would only remain a hobby. Taking some more formal training in college, Leah began to refine her skill and her eye for the art. With an advertising major, she spent all her extra credit hours focused on photography. She studied abroad in Italy, did an internship in NYC, and studied under Baldwin Lee at the University of Tennessee (who was taught by famous photographer, Walker Evans). She started her professional work doing weddings for friends,which has now erupted into a business that can stand on its own.
While still very young in both age and time in business, Leah is looking forward to where her career and passion in photography will lead. Frankly, she is amazed and thrilled that she gets to do what she loves, and be paid for it! She has the Lord her God to thank for being so blessed, and her husband, Matthew, for the support.
